Char Dham Yatra Registration Open for 2024-25: How to Register Online | Tourism Updates

April 15, 2024: Starting today, devotees from across the country and around the world can begin their registration for the Char Dham Yatra. The registration website will open at 7 AM this morning. Additionally, registration services are available through a mobile app, WhatsApp number, and toll-free helpline.

Registration is mandatory for pilgrims undertaking the journey to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri Dham.

Preparations for registration have been completed by the Tourism Department following the announcement of the Char Dham Yatra opening date. This year, registration facilities are being provided 25 days prior to the commencement of the Char Dham Yatra. This will allow pilgrims from outside the state to plan and register for their journey easily.

Pilgrims from any part of the country can register through four mediums. Registration requires providing names, mobile numbers, details of accompanying members, and addresses for identification.

How to Register

Visit the Tourism Department’s website at registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in to log in and complete the registration process. Alternatively, send a message with the word ‘yatra’ to the WhatsApp number 8394833833 for registration.

For those unable to register on the website, the Tourism Department has set up a toll-free number 0135-1364 for registration assistance. Moreover, registration can also be done via the ‘touristcarerttarakhand’ mobile app on smartphones.

Last Year’s Registrations

Last year, more than 7.4 million pilgrims registered for the Char Dham Yatra. Throughout the pilgrimage season, 5.6 million devotees visited the Char Dhams. This year, the department anticipates an increase in the number of pilgrims.
