The success of Chandrayaan-3, the mission that touched the surface of the moon, has been attributed to the dedicated efforts of the Agarwal couple from Uttarakhand. Deepak Agarwal and his wife Payal Agarwal, residents of Dugadda, played a significant role in the mission’s success and are now filled with enthusiasm. They consider this achievement as a moment of pride and honor. During the historic landing of Vikram lander on the lunar south pole, Payal Agarwal was present at the ISRO headquarters.

Both Deepak and Payal Agarwal, who are associated with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), actively contributed to the Chandrayaan-3 mission from its launch to its successful landing. Their joy and pride are evident as they express their happiness in achieving this feat. Prior to this achievement, they had also contributed to other significant missions including the Mars Orbiter Mission, Chandrayaan-1, development of cryogenic engines for GSLV flights, and GSLV Mk-3 missions.

Deepak Agarwal, an ISRO scientist, was born in 1979 in Moti Bazaar, Dugadda. He completed his education from local schools and colleges, ultimately earning a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Tech degree. His wife Payal Agarwal hails from the same region, and they got married in 2004.

Deepak Agarwal has also taken an active interest in his community’s well-being. He has adopted a local school, Saraswati Shishu Mandir School, where he provides financial assistance for educational resources and development. His efforts are aimed at promoting science education and igniting curiosity among children.

The success of Chandrayaan-3 has triggered waves of joy across the nation. BJP workers gathered at various places to celebrate the achievement. At Jhandachowk, the party workers congratulated ISRO scientists and chanted slogans of victory. This achievement has renewed India’s aspiration to become a global leader in space exploration and research.

The success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission signifies a significant milestone in India’s journey towards space exploration. The Agarwal couple’s contribution has brought pride not only to them but to the entire nation. The mission’s success is expected to expand humanity’s knowledge about the moon and propel India further on the path of progress.
