Tragic Incidents Claim Lives of 20 People in Separate Accidents in Uttar Pradesh

In the past 24 hours, Uttar Pradesh has witnessed a series of unfortunate incidents resulting in the loss of 20 lives and several people sustaining severe injuries. The first incident occurred on Friday morning in Greater Noida, where eight laborers tragically lost their lives when an elevator collapsed at the construction site of Amrapali’s Dream Valley Phase-2 project. Investigations into the incident suggest that those responsible for the mishap may have intentionally overloaded the faulty elevator, leading to the tragic outcome. The police have registered a case under IPC Sections 304/308/337/338/287/34 and the 7 CL Act and detained approximately 16 individuals for further inquiry.

The second incident unfolded on Friday night on the Delhi-Agra National Highway in the Jaunt area of Mathura, claiming the lives of four individuals, while two others suffered serious injuries. The injured were rushed to the Neuro Hospital in Mathura for medical treatment. At 2 AM on Saturday, five people en route to Kokilavan Shrine in Kosi Nandgaon Road met with a fatal accident. The deceased were identified as Arun Bansal (son of Nivdh Bansal), Sunil Dayal (son of Alok Dayal), and Akash, while the truck driver, Ajit Kumar, succumbed to injuries during treatment.

The third incident occurred in Uttar Railway Lucknow Division’s Fateh Ali Railway Colony late at night when a house’s roof collapsed due to heavy rain, resulting in the tragic death of five individuals who were trapped underneath the debris. The incident sent shockwaves through the area, prompting immediate rescue efforts by the police and the NDRF. The victims were pronounced dead at the Lokbandhu Hospital. The deceased included Satish Chandra (40), Sarojni Devi (35), Harshit (13), Harshita (10), and Ansh (5).

The fourth incident took place near Kasauli village in the Khairo Thana area of Raebareli district, where a car collided with a stationary truck on the Unnao-Lalganj main road late on Friday night. The collision resulted in the tragic deaths of the car’s occupants, a mother and her two sons, while two children sustained severe injuries. The loud crash created panic in the vicinity, and the police rushed to the scene, rescuing all injured victims and transporting them to CHC Lalganj.

These unfortunate incidents have brought immense sorrow to Uttar Pradesh, and the authorities are conducting thorough investigations to ascertain the causes and prevent such tragedies in the future.
