Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s WhatsApp channel has attracted more than one million (10 lakh) followers in approximately 24 hours since going live. This number continues to grow steadily. PM Modi officially launched his WhatsApp channel just yesterday, on Tuesday, and he shared this information through Facebook and other social media platforms. As of the time of reporting, PM Modi’s WhatsApp channel has garnered 1,145,072 followers.

On the instant blogging platform ‘Ex’ (formerly Twitter), Prime Minister Modi has over 91 million followers globally. Additionally, he has more than 48 million followers on Facebook and over 79.1 million on Instagram, making him widely popular on various social media platforms.

WhatsApp, owned by Meta, recently introduced a new feature similar to Telegram called WhatsApp Channels. This feature allows celebrities to create their own WhatsApp channels, which regular users can subscribe to directly. Users can search for their favorite content creators, businesses, or celebrities and connect with them. Users also have the option to react to messages from creators. Many celebrities and politicians, including PM Modi, have created their own channels, which users can follow.

  2. Open the app and go to the New Updates tab.
  3. Here, you will find the “Find Channels” option at the bottom.
