NIA Requests Details Regarding Suspects Wanted in Attack on Indian Consulate in San Francisco, Issues Photographs

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has released images of 10 suspects believed to be involved in the attack on the Indian Consulate in San Francisco in March. The NIA is seeking information from the public to aid in their arrest.

The NIA’s notice states that they are seeking information about the 10 individuals involved in the attack on the Indian Consulate in March 2023. They have shared contact numbers and email IDs where information about the suspects can be provided. The NIA has requested details such as their names, phone numbers, addresses, passport details, and nationality.

The Attack in March:

According to the NIA, the attack occurred on the nights of March 18 and 19 at the Indian Consulate in San Francisco. Alleged Khalistani supporters attempted to enter the consulate and set it on fire. They removed barricades set up by local police and hoisted Khalistani flags within the consulate premises. During the attack, there was vandalism, and Indian officials were assaulted. On the night of July 2nd, there was another attempt to set the consulate on fire when several officials were present on the premises.

The NIA is actively investigating this incident and is seeking public assistance to identify and apprehend the suspects involved.
