Aani, A town in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district, witnessed the collapse of eight buildings. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. About a week ago, cracks had appeared in approximately four buildings and four residential houses located behind them, adjacent to the new bus stand in Anni. Following this, the administration had declared these structures unsafe.
The administration had issued directives to evacuate all residents from these buildings. According to information, all the buildings had been vacated. On Friday morning, around 9:30 AM, all these unsafe structures collapsed, almost resembling a deck of cards collapsing.
It is worth noting that two of these buildings housed branches of two banks, State Bank of India (SBI), and Kangra Bank. Additionally, there were around 30 shops as well. The entire administration team was present at the scene. Thanks to the administration’s quick actions, everyone is reported to be safe.
