Former US President Donald Trump Faces Mug Shot Procedure in Election Fraud Case

Travel from New Jersey to Atlanta

Donald Trump’s mug shot was taken at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, for which he flew from New Jersey. The former President departed for Atlanta in his private jet and later arrived at the Fulton County Jail. Many of his supporters gathered outside the jail as he arrived. It’s worth noting that there were banners and American flags waving as his supporters eagerly awaited a glimpse of him.

Supporter Turned Himself In

Prior to Trump, his former ally Mark Meadows had surrendered himself in this case. According to the county’s website, he has been arrested. Meadows is one of the 18 co-defendants, including Trump, accused of aiding Trump in plotting to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Short Stay in Jail

Trump spent only about 20 minutes in jail and then returned to his New Jersey golf club. However, before boarding his private plane at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, he claimed that he was being framed. After his arrest, speaking to reporters, Trump, who is leading the 2024 Republican presidential nomination race, said that it was a very sad day for America. He stated that what has happened here is a mockery of justice. I did nothing wrong.

Trump’s Intense Gaze

According to records from Fulton County Jail, Donald Trump was assigned the booking number P01135809 for his mug shot. During this process, Trump was captured on camera gazing towards the lens. In the image released by the Sheriff’s Office, Trump can be seen wearing a deep blue suit, a white shirt, and a red tie, with an angry expression directed at the camera. The Fulton County Jail specified Trump’s height as 6 feet 3 inches (1.9 meters), his weight as 215 pounds (97 kilograms), and his hair color as blonde or strawberry.
