So what exactly is GoogleBowling ?
At it’s simplest it’s using anchor text to bowl over, or sabotage another website. GoogleBowling is using any off site tactics to bring down your competitors rankings.
A webmaster at Google Webmasters forums .. reported a working example of GoogleBowling .. According to him Some spammers .. Bowled his website over some PORN and SPAM forums … and as a result the webmaster lost all of his keywords having the word he was bowled with.
However JohnMu had suggested the webmaster to improve the Quality of the content of his website and have asked him to read the Quality guidelines !!
The webmaster claims to have sitelinks on his website earlier before this bowling… and have given a proof for his statement… Check this. (NOTE: Please be aware that some of these links contain Trojan downloaders.)
