How to get good PageRank ?

I will suggest you all to have a look at my recent article: Trust is important then building anchor text before going through this article.
I had already Discussed about Paid Links earlier in my Post: Are Paid Links Evil in Real?.
Now a days i had seen many webmasters getting slapped by Google for Paid Links, Paid Post, Buying Links and Exchanging Links to increase there PageRank (PR). If you had seen my article Exchanging Links Just a SEO Mistake, then the point must be clear that best links are not paid, or exchanged.
Well here I’m telling you some simple points which might be helpful in getting good PR… so here are the points below:
- Don’t buy or sell sitewide links for serps.
- Don’t look for high PR links from the beginning – I will recommend to start your new site link building with PR 0-1 and slowly move up according to increase in your rankings.
- Control your link building speed. Building 5-10 links a day is fine.
- Avoid link-farms, links to gambling, pills, etc.
- Link from a relevant website is fantastic.
- Make links look natural.
- Different anchor text, while building links will be useful.
- Don’t do reciprocal link exchange.
Important: Lol … have a look at the below reply …. i saw at one of the webmasters forum when a guy asked similar question How to get good PageRank ? … the guy replied:
Ok. Here you go. Its a secret. never tell anyone!
Search and find Good PR site which has the "Top Commentator" plugin enabled.
Make it a habit to post comments there regularly. Once you enter their Top Commentator list, You get their PR Juice Transfered to your domain.
Another secret,
Search and Find Good PR sites which has "You comment, I follow" / DoFollow feature enabled. Make it a habit again to comment there.
Always remember this will be considered SPAM !! Instead of getting good PR you will loose your PR… .
Thats not all … i will recommend go for a nice content websites and you will get excellent backlinks automatically

Well lets take an example of my website .. its regarding Google and SEO .. if i will exchange link with a Poker website with PR 6+ do you think it matched to Google TOS ?

I haven’t said to exchange links with non-relevant sites including Poker, porn etc.
Here, I am discussing about “exchanging links just a SEO mistake”. An d you simply mentioned here in this posts in the 8th point that “Don’t do reciprocal link exchange.”
LE is never be a mistake if done in a right way. If you are linking with relevant and quality sites, it will not harm you in any way.
And even, if lots of webmasters forward unsolicited emails to Google, then fairly it’s not your issue. Let Google will tackle it.

Dear they will give penalty.
Asking for Link Exchange using Email or something like that is the biggest mistake one do … I will call it SPAM !!

You mean if I’ll send a LE request to any webmaster, it would be considered as a “SPAM” and for this, Google will penalize my site.

It will be called SPAM but google will be able to know about this when the webmaster will fwd that mail to google.

Provide quality content and you will get some natural and good high quality backlinks yourself !! BTW .. I will write about on how to get some good backlinks soon ..;)
Over 1 million backlinks that is one crazy crazy figure, i would love to have that many links.

This is really an interesting post, contains some excellent points to be noted if you want to gain good pagerank. With all the spam nowadays, it simply is hard to obtain PR and one wrong move could really be a slap in your face. I guess what’s important really is the fact that it looks natural(especially if one is doing social networking/bookmarking). Nice post mate!
Establishing link speed should be gradual as you mention. Also using good keyword link anchor text is key, just make sure you’re using the best keywords
