July 13th, 2008 | by Ankit |

Okay so here are the weekly search buzz from the market and from my blog.

Matt Cutts once again ranked for “Buy Cheap Viagra Online”. - Seems like anti-webspam blog is good instead of spamming if u want to rank for Viagra …. Lol

Yahoo Search and Live Search did some major changes in their Algorithm. In the former situation, anchor text seems to be weighted a little more than it had been previously. In the latter situation, for Live.com, people are seeing big shifts in the rankings — some going from page 1 to page 4 and others going from page 6 to page 1.

Google’s Keyword Tool Now Showing Search Volume Numbers. - Google has added a new feature to the external keyword tool, they have added approximate search volume numbers.

YouTube Will Soon Add Geographic Search. - YouTube added the option to geotag videos when they’re uploaded a little over a year ago, but didn’t offer a way to do anything with that information. Google Earth does offer geotagged YouTube videos, but only for a subset of selected videos.

adCenter Launches Quality-Based Ranking Algorithm In UK and Canada - Over a year ago, Microsoft adCenter launched a quality ranking component to their search ads. That rollout was available to US advertisers…that is, until now.

Thats all for this week will update this section next week.
