PageRank and Google Rankings
May 6th, 2008 | by Ankit |In my earlier post i told about the PR Update in April and got many mails asking the importance of PR.
This is not new if you will find some post on webmaster forums about what is the importance of PR (Page Rank) ? or something similar.
PageRank is simply a calculation of how many backlinks you have and the value of each one. So in Simple Words .. PR is not Traffic. Getting PR5 or PR6 Didn’t mean that you will get some 250 or 200 Unique Visitor every day !!
Pagerank is Just one of the 1000’s of factor google considers for its ranking.
