This is one of common questions asked by webmasters and bloggers on many webmasters forums if buying adwords help in Getting some Google rankings Or Google Indexing there website fast.

Everyone new to SEO have similar wrong assumption that buying Adwords will have some positive impact on Google organic search result pages for there website or blog.

Well to let every one know Adwords results are within iframes and embedded inside JavaScript so there are no chance of getting crawled by search engine robots. Also the links goes through a redirect which prevent passing any kind of link juice.

    Hey Ankit,
Not so long ago I discovered your blog, and you have been on my feedreader since. I saw this article and thought to write a reply. My reply:

Your question for this article was: do Adwords help getting organic rankings? Answer is no.

Are Google Ads shown in SERPS spider-friendly? Yes, they are. Take a look at the source and you will notice that it contains spider food.

Will Google index Google Ads shown in SERPs? No they won’t. Even if you link to it.

Why? Because it’s blocked by their own robots.txt file. See http://www.google.com/robots.txt. (you will see “Disallow: /sponsoredlinks”

    Have a nice day.

    >> Are Google Ads shown in SERPS spider-friendly?
They are not Friendly because they are inside iFrame (iFrames are never search engine friendly) !!
and the URL: http://www.google.com/sponsoredlinks (This is the URL inside the frame) which is blocked using robots.txt
Also all the adword URL’s have redirection in them so there is no point of getting link juice !
    Hope this will help !!
Let me know if u have further query !

    Dude,
I checked the source, I did saw one “iframe”, but the part where the ads are shown, I saw it being wrapped in DIVs. Anyway, iframes are not so SE friendly, true. Doesn’t mean content that you put in iframes won’t get indexed.
If you take the SERP URL which contains that the Adwords ads in it and link to it from other SEs it will get indexed by other SEs. This is actually an old topic I read somewhere else where spammers make SEs index SERPs to achieve higher ranking. Anyway, point is Google Ads won’t give you organic results.
