Change In Google’s Algorithm - Anchor Text Again Important
October 6th, 2008 | by Ankit |Earlier we discussed about Change in Google’s Algorithm where Anchor Text was considered Less Important and Patrick did a great post at BlogStrom in August about the situation.
Looks like Google Changed its Algorithm and backlinks are most important factors for search engine rankings once again.
Noticed this while doing a post for Google SERP’s Update for Oct. I was shocked when my experiment page was back in first page and jumped to #2 for the targeted keyword.
Later in the evening I asked Rishil about his experiment, and Yes !! Rishil also got the targeted keyword on page one.
