Last week I did a blog post, Got lots and lots of comments and feedback and finally the post came to a conclusion that Mr Advani is Spending more then 25k/Day on Google Adwords .. However, I’m expecting the daily budget to be more then 50k/Day… approx $1,000 USD/Day.

Actually online promotion was a nice move from BJP but the daily budget makes this move senseless.

My advice to Mr Advani, This was a nice move but its overbidded campaign believe me more then INR25k/Day really dont make any sense, believe me this is not going to help the party as expected !! You were supposed to invest much in SMO (Social Media Optimization) and SMM (Social Media Marketing) instead of SEM (Search Engine Marketing).

Naukri.Com has launched “NaukriOnChat” where one can find there desired jobs using gTalk.

Just follow the below instructions:

Step 1: login to the GTalk(Google Talk).

Section 49-O of Indian Constitution

Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section “49-O” that a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn’t want to vote anyone!
Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called “49-O”.

Why should you go and say “I VOTE NOBODY”… because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that particular ward has received “49-O” votes more than 123, then that polling will be cancelled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their decision on them. This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way, of our whole political system… it is seemingly surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a feature to the public…..

Please spread this news to as many as you know… Seems to be a wonderful weapon against corrupt parties in India… show your power,expressing your desire not to vote for anybody, is even more powerful than voting… so don’t miss your chance. So either vote, or vote not to vote (vote 49-O) and pass this info on…

I’m aware that you must be feeling angry on me and you might be thinking that you are cheated,
Actually, My aim behind writing this letter is not to express my anger or something against you. Actually I felt happy when I saw some waste from my car missing.
I know you did lot of hard work and wasted lot of your precious time in opening the door of my car but believe me I never meant to hurt your feelings!!

I’m still not sure how much cash you got after selling those stuff … Actually I have a Business proposal for you guys, I have (One More Spare Stereo + Lots of Electricity, Water, Cellphone and My CC Bill’s + Few Empty Bottle Of Perfume) Actually I want to sell them all … But don’t know where to get a right buyer. I will be greatful to you if you can tell me where u sold previous stuff .. if u want I can give u some share from the profit !!

Google – Yahoo Ad Deal Ends

As we all know that Google and Yahoo ad Deal was delayed last month, Looks like an end of the Google – Yahoo advertising era, Google officially announced about Ending of there agreement with Yahoo!!

Looks like google and yahoo was not happy with the government’s involvement in reviewing the agreement. Also, some advertisers were having problems with this deal. Instead of pursuing a legal battle, Google and Yahoo decided to part ways, which is unfortunate for those who really wanted this to happen.

Alexa Ignores ‘noarchive’ Tag ?

I was upset about this when saw a post from tammer at seroundtable, Looks like Alexa is only bothered about Robots.txt not about MetaTags.

If you are facing similar problem about your ‘noarchive’ pages getting indexed at alexa then you have to contact them directly.

I think they have to respect directives in the HTML files themselves instead of asking webmasters to contact them.

Yahoo Gains Internet Search Share While Microsoft Loses Its Share In US

According to Bloomberg, Yahoo has jumped in its search share in the month of September 2008 while Microsoft has lost some of its share likely to Yahoo and Google in US.

According to the report Yahoo received 20.2% of queries in the month of September, It was reported to be 19.6% in the month of August, while at the same time Microsoft looses there share to 8.5% from 8.9%.

Firefox Better Then Chrome

Conducted a Poll, and asked webmasters about There favt Browser ?

Results were unexpected .. I was expecting Chrome to be atleast at No.2 .. but InternetExplorer is better then Google Chorome .. thats what uses think.

Here are the stats for the poll:

Firefox 53%.
Internet Explorer 29%.
Chrome 16%.
Others 2%.

Just noticed another thread over DigitalPoint this morning where everyone is recommended Firefox over Google Chrome !!
