Avoid Mumbai Airport on Tuesdays
I was in mumbai last tuesday and my flight was 1 hour and 40 minute delayed, Actually the main runway of mumbai airport, which handles around 650 flights a day, is currently undergoing maintenance for six hours every tuesday from 12:00 Noon till 6:00 PM, To do the resurfacing work approx one half of the runway is being shut down.
All this is expected to continue every Tuesday for the next 22 weeks. So just a advice simply avoid Mumbai Airport on Tuesdays.
